Try and take some time to keep your yarn fit and healthy (and free of unwanted visitors/residents).
It’s summer and time to review both my stock and personal stash by emptying all storage devices and checking over the yarns. I dust and sort, and refresh the cedar balls. The added benefit of this operation, is not only the leg exercise (carrying boxes from the basement), but I also renew my acquaintance with old friends. By the end of the day however, I will be suffering with a million new design ideas all clamouring for my attention.
Don’t be afraid to move along to a new home any yarns that no longer appeal to you, there are many good causes or friends who would be glad to help you out. Or this could be good time to propose a guild yarn swap.
