Knit camp is hurtling happily by. A full schedule of classes and outings combined with dubious internet has precluded regular blogging. We’ve had some stunning successes in class (it’s a free ranging affair), several new double-knitters have been launched, a first sock is nearing it’s toe, a double-knit sleeve head has been remodeled for better fit, several knitters are working the intarsia stripes in the Lucky Number hat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0ct-CMerwU
I’ve been charged by a muskox (fortunately in an enclosure), seen a wild caribou galloping in the mist, watched salmon struggling upstream, swimming and almost crawling where it was too shallow to remain fully afloat in Skagway. I managed to miss early morning yoga this morning as my phone/alarm clock remained on AK time and I failed to notice, hence giving me time to blog. I’ll miss the 18 hour daylight when I get home!
