Texture doesn’t just rely on stuffing and stitch patterns. Here in the Pinstripe Mittens, the texture stems from two different yarns. The pink is our Cat’s Pajama’s yarn (merino, cashmere, nylon, 80/10/10) and the green is Curious Creek Omo (wool/silk (50/50).
The difference in the luster between the two yarns creates a glorious effect. I get a lot of tactile pleasure when working two different yarns and the finished mitten feels sensual as you put it on!
