Happy Stitches

Keep your stitches smiling!

Technique Corner May 16, 2016

So far in this blog series we have looked at two methods of casting on: long-tail cast-on and provisional crochet cast-on.

A third cast-on technique that every knitter should be familiar with is the knitted cast-on. As Lucy explains in this video, the knitted cast-on provides a lacy edge that many people prefer for lace knitting (another advantage of the knitted cast-on is that it allows you to easily add stitches at the end of a row).
