Happy Stitches

Keep your stitches smiling!

Technique Corner May 30, 2016

Binding off can be an awkward, tedious process, since the conventional method of binding off—grabbing stitches by the scruff of their necks and hauling them over each other—lacks the flow of regular knitting.

Luckily for us, Lucy has developed innovative new method of binding off that that is not only faster and easier than the conventional method, but also produces a looser bound-off edge. Watch this video to see Lucy demonstrate her fabulous modified conventional bind off:

Love this bind off! It’s my go to for most projects.

Fascinating! Now I’m looking through all my current projects to find one that’s nearing the bind-off point so I can try this! Thanks, Lucy!
